Today was great! 
Sarah, Anna, Grace, Woody and me went for an impromptu outing to Hinton Ampner (a National Trust property).
It took us quite a long time to get there (with a very eventful journey!) but we finally arrived and went for a lovely walk. It was absolutely beautiful, the trees and their falling leaves, the sunshine, the fields, everything! It was just so nice to get out of the town and breathe some fresh air. 
Afterwards we went to the cafe for a yummy cake and hot drink.

In the evening we had a family gathering at Granny's house and went to the local firework display and had hot soup at the house afterwards, just like we used to do when I was little. It was great fun, we felt like children again!
