It was the River Ness Marathon again today. It wasn't so well advertised this year, so entries were quite a bit lower... unfortunately. Didn't get that many good shots either, as most folk decided to the safer/softer options, and avoided shooting the large weir near the Bught Park. Suspect a couple of the entrants that did have a go, wished they hadn't... especially as there was some bugger with a telephoto lens to catch them capsizing, and taking a swim!

In the photo we have the K2 category winners ("K" as in kayak with seated paddler(s) using paddles with two blades, and "2" as in there's 2 paddlers in it).

One other reason it may have been quiet, sadly,  was that there was some tennis match on down South somewhere. A dour fella called Murray playing against...
