Swallowing Swallows

Today was spent firstly at a little bird hide near Bassenthwaite Lake in the Lake District, Cumbria and then onto Watendlath near Derwent Water.

I spotted the parent Swallows swooping in and out of a barn near the tarn and realised they were probably feeding their young. A quick glance in the open door and I spotted these fellows. It was then just a matter of waiting for one of the parents to come back - didn't take long.
