A very good meeting this morning talking about whisky.

Quick dash home to pick up Mrs S and her Mum and then back in to Edinburgh for a visit to the hospital, picking up Kath on the way.

While the sisters waited and offered emotional support I headed up Lothian Road to purchase First World War figures to place in a trench for Joe's homework assignment. I ended up buying WW2 models so we've written a time travel narrative. Joe thinks I should have bought some knights to put in there too.

Early night ahead as I have to get Ruby to the airport for 4.30am.

And the American business adventure kicked off again quite spectacularly.
