The Arch Bishop of Canterbury.

Yes we met the Arch Bishop! Such a nice man and so genuinely interested in the rural community too. He worked the room stopping and chatting to both young and old finding out what their lives were like. We had a good turnout of local Exmoor YFC members which was so good too. Mr Tbay was part of the meet and greet team in his capacity as President of Somerset YFC. I was a hanger on!!

We also had the Bishop of Bath and Wells too. Not the baby eating variety I hasten to add!! Bishop Peter is a fan of Young Farmers which is lovely.

He is on a pretty exhausting tour of the area, as after us he was heading to Frome for the night and then off to Wells tomorrow. Next week he will be in some other far flung corner of the world where conflict is rife. Security prevented him for telling us exactly where. He must have limitless energy.

Now it's time for sleep and to reflect on a rather special evening in my life .
