Me and My Boys

It's hard to believe that Farmerboy and myself have a son finishing school today.  C (on the right) has just finished his Year 13 year - quite an achievement.  T has one more year left, and he too will be finished school this time next year and ready to fly the 'nest'.  It makes me feel old......and standing in between these two young lads, short!

Tonight we had senior prizegiving.  Both boys gained awards....but C won the 2016 Dux award, and so well deserved.  C has put in much effort with his school work this year, and has already gained University Entrance and has enough credits to pass Level 3 NCEA.  A fantastic achievement...and one he ought to be very proud of.  My extra photo is C with his Dux medal and top student trophy.

Over the next few weeks both boys have their end of year NCEA exams, so will hopefully be spending the next few days studying towards them.

So you can see why Farmerboy and myself are very proud parents tonight.  Two great sons to be very proud of.

It was really great to see TeeJay come through the door at the Prizegiving venue tonight.  Such a surprise, and an awesome effort to get to the prizegiving and support our students.  Thank you T!
