What Do You Think it Is?

A pear on steroids is not a bad guess, but it is, as I'm sure you knew, a quince.

They smell marvellous - if you pick a few and bring them home, they perfume a room so quickly.  I love the smell.

I also really like quince jelly - but it's a  ton of work to peel these and chop them and then cook them.

New Plan for coming home today.  I've gotten too used to taking 2 buses from work to the house and I was missing my daily stomp  So now I take one bus to a place that's about 30 minutes from the house and force myself to walk.  This will continue regardless of the weather.  I need to stretch my bones and walk off a bit of stress.  This will also allow me to enjoy some podcasts.
