Wild in the City

Mother Nature constantly amazes me with her ability to take back - such as this doe calmly munching along the side of a busy thoroughfare. I cooled my jets for a moment to snap this; completely captivated by her total disregard of the city life around her. If I'd gotten out of the car, there's little doubt she would have stayed and looked at me like I was the out-of-place entity!

Alas, my brief sojourn with Cervidae caused me to miss the train, and my typical rocket along the morning commute went awry. But it was well worth it, simply for the wonderful tone she set for my day.
