Sitting on the dock

The day started with promising sunny weather and the walk from the station (no cycling since I was out with a drink tonight) was lovely this morning. I spied this cormorant taking in the Thames view. At lunchtime, the rain fell, but I managed to make it to the Algerian Coffee Stores to stock up on my caffeine fix. I also ended up buying some tea balls - very careless of me (but oh so exciting!)

In the evening, a whole host of colleagues went to a very narrow pub nearby. Luckily, there was an equally narrow alleyway out the back that the pub uses as a garden - we all piled in there. The banter was good and I left before pumpkin time, although the drinks were still in full swing.
