What's the alternative?

Sometimes, like this tree that loses its leaves and fruit each year, I guess we have to start again and continue with what we've got. Albeit we have some choice which side of the fence we fall.
Trump or no Trump, Brexit or no Brexit, we've just got to crack on and work on the problems together. What's the alternative?
