Poppy's last stand!

Went on safari into the wilderness back garden this morning ..... to see what had survived the gale wind. Most of the wildflowers were almost flattened. Did managed to rectify some of the damage ..... they are now only leaning at a 45 degree angle!

This lone poppy was almost upright & a shining example of defiance in the face of adversity! So decided it deserved to be today's blip :-)

Blowing a gale out there again now ..... so not sure what will be left to salvage by tomorrow! Don't you just love? the British summer weather!!!
