Heartfelt Thanks

To all the brave veterans who have fought to keep our democracy safe and free, I give you my most sincere thanks.

My father served aboard an LST (Landing Ship Tank) in the South Pacific during World War II.  He entered the Navy when he was 19 years old -- still just a boy.  He kept these documents in a scrap book he made to preserve his war time memories. 

In light of the recent Presidential election news (and the violent reaction to it in certain parts of the country), Harry Truman's words really resonated with me this morning -- I think we all need to demonstrate fortitude, resourcefulness, and calm judgment in these uncertain times.
