An Avid Lensman

Salisbury Cathedral Spire from Dean Hill

Another long walk, this time from Whiteparish to the Pepperbox, along most of the length of the Dean Hill Ridge.

Sunny at the start, it soon clouded over and so the potentially fantastic views came out as less than fantastic photos. Here, the sun tried to reappear and I had the 120-400mm lens fitted at the time, giving a 35mm equivalent of 600mm.

It was almost dark by the time I reached The Pepperbox and then the wait for the bus home on the ultra busy A36 main road, in the dark, was a bit of a nightmare as it soon got very cold - and the bus was half an hour late.
