Mr. and Mrs. Eider

This is a Common Eider pair, often found during the fall and winter months here.  They sat together on the rock for quite a while, until Mrs started pecking Mr's face.  He eventually slid off the rock and swam away.  This shot reminds me that I really need to get a polarizing filter for my camera.
