Stoney Stanton War Memorial

On Armistice Day...

I stood silent at 11am upon nearby Croft Hill where I listened to 5 Live's marking of the two minutes silence in Westminster. 

Later I visited Stoney Stanton war memorial where my Grandmother's late Brother, who never returned from what would have been his final sortie, in 1944 only months before the conclusion of the war.
