Old Window, Old Medina, Fez

I have passed this old window most days, something I like about it. The old Medina is full of beautiful old houses, many of them in serious disrepair and semi derelict. Generally they are two or three stories high and built around an internal courtyard.
Today was our last full day here in Fez. We bought some fine old ceramic bowls, looked around the area where the metalworkers have their workshops and drank mint tea at an elegant rooftop café when we were tired.
It's been a good day and I will be sad to leave this place, and particularly this wonderful riad (guesthouse) with such delightful staff; they have been so friendly, playful and nothing has been too much trouble for them. How lucky we were to find this place.
