The visitors

It's that time of year again, when the visitors are back. All summer our locally resident rose-ringed parakeets fly over the garden on their way home to the woods beyond. But come November, they land to feed on the lush-fruited crab apple tree and the bird feeding station. It's good to see them, except that it means winter has definitely arrived.
