The Lord mayor of London

Some images from the Lord Mayors Show of London. On a very Grey day in London the show started at 8:30 with a river pageant, I felt very sorry for those on the river with quite heavy rain having to Row against the tide - must have been  exhausting. The Bridge was opened as a mark of respect. The outward procession started at 11:05 with the band of the Coldstream Guards, fortunately the rain had almost stopped 140  floats and marching groups later the procession ended..
