Remembrance Sunday With Maddi.....

Once again we went to Lower Gornal British Legion Remembrance Sunday service, we met u at the British Legion and marched down the streets to our first venue the Zoar Church in the village. Maddi laid the Brownies Wreath at the Zoar Church Memorial and she put her Poppy cross with everyone else.
We then marched up the hill to the Memorial Hall and there we did the second service and the list of the Gornal dead from the both wars were read out and it was quite a long list for the WW1.

The last post was played and then more crosses and wreaths were laid here and we then marched off to the British legion to finish our day.

Maddi was brilliant.
