Brightly coloured yellowhammer

Another earthquake today, but fortunately not near us for a change.  It was a big one, though, and has done considerable damage in North Canterbury, reaching as far north as Wellington.  
We've been walking on the Port Hills today, and this rock slide (extra) was a reminder of previous shocks in our area.  The yellowhammer makes a prettier image, even though it is surrounded by wire.
