These aged feet

Whew what a 24 hours we have had here in NZ. Major earthquake struck at 12.02 am. Scary here but what devastation 300 miles north. Road, rail, power, water supply, sewage all out and people totally cut off  from either side. Two deaths but at least one truck driver still missing. At least at that time of night not many on the roads. It is our main link north how they will ever start repairing the infrastructure beggars belief.
I did not do much sleeping so am tired tonight..Bad weather with high winds forecast for the earthquake hit area. Poor things as many sleeping in tents, how I feel for them all.

Our church do a foot clinic once a month for all the oldies that find it hard to attend to their feet. They get their feet soaked then nails cut and then a foot massage. This is all followed by a lovely home made afternoon tea. Believe you me they are queuing up at the door. I don't always help but they were short today so I was called upon to do the foot massages.
The feet above belong to a 93 year old friend of mine who is still very active. Lives alone, drives and helps with what ever is happening in the town. She thought it a bit of a laugh me photographing her feet but went along with it.
