The Lozarithm Lens

Fluffy's vet recently put her on a rigorous diet.

Fluffy does not approve.

(I took this in very low light, hand held at 1/3rd, without flash and with the white balance set wrongly for natural outdoor light, all leading to a strong amber cast. The books say this can "easily" be fixed in software. Well, not using my software it can't! This was the best I could manage.)

Lozarhythm of the Day:
Leon Russell - Delta Lady (1970)
R.I.P. Leon Russell (2nd April 1942, Lawton OK - 13 November 2016, Nashville TN)
This song was given by Leon Russell to Joe Cocker when he was music director on his Mad Dogs And Englishman tour. I vividly recall seeing Leon Russell performing with his own Shelter People band at the Civic Hall in 1970 when I was a student at Wolverhampton College of Art.
As a session musician he recorded with everyone from Bob Dylan to Frank Sinatra, but at the time I knew him mostly for having been a member of the Wrecking Crew and thereby playing on classic records by the Ronettes and the Beach Boys that I loved.
