PHEASANT DOWN

The blip gods were kind to me today, if not to this poor bird. I looked out of my window and spotted something incongruous among all the fallen leaves in the square and it turned out to be this pheasant (extra) with a broken neck. It's a mystery how it got here - I've never seen a pheasant anywhere near the square before. B thinks it might have been flying through and hit one of the trees. Rather than leave it for the many passing dogs (and returning schoolchildren) we bagged it up and disposed of it - neither of us fancying plucking, drawing and hanging it.

It's not looking good here for a clear night to see the supermoon. I look forward to seeing blips from clearer skies and better cameras.
