... we were back in our old "stomping ground" this afternoon and so I had to get on down to the mighty Nepean River for a look at what was on?

Heard the distinctive call of the Common Koel - have a look and scroll down on right to hear it here on the Birds in Backyard site.

Rarely seen (by me anyway) it was being attacked by a willie wagtail - check on Flickr here a couple of shots not good ones mind you, but at least good enough for me to add to the collection.
