………………....………Bathed in Moonlight

This is the closest Full Moon to Earth Since 1948 - it won’t be this close again until 25th November 2034

A band of cloud meant the spectators lining the beach front tonight missed seeing the moon as it rose above the horizon.
After days of rain and cloudy skies, I was happy to see the supermoon regardless of where it was in the sky!

Thank you for the many caring comments, stars and hearts in regard to yesterday’s blip and the earthquake.
Today, the NZ Defence Force helicopters have been busy evacuating tourists from Kaikoura and returning with supplies on each flight. Tomorrow morning, (Wednesday)   Navy ships will arrive in Kaikoura bringing emergency supplies for the region and helping with the evacuation of more earthquake stranded tourists.

It's already the next day and time I was in bed! I will catch up with comments and your journals tomorrow.
