Hollingworth Lake, Milnrow, at night

It was the night of the supermoon, and at home we were in the thickest of fogs. We drove for miles from Halifax westwards on the M62 looking for lunar light. There was none, and after an Asda-related 5p/10p bargains fest we had an impromptu picnic in the car.

We were quite near Hollingworth Lake at Milnrow near Rochdale, so decided to take a walk around there. Parking up amongst the drug dealers and the like, we headed off around the lake. It was still a little misty, the moon peeped through once or twice but my camera wasn't able to pick up anything worthy. So a few snaps around the lakeside, in the dark. I chose this one because it has a fellow photographer focusing on her killer shot of the night! I like the lights, the curves (of the lake) and with my tripod, seems a reasonably exposed and white-balanced shot.
