merry christmas little ones

after my last final of the semester (hooray!), i was recruited by netcasters (ie my friends) to take photos of santa delivering backpacks to the third grade classes of roy guess elementary school.

it was adorable. these kids don't have snacks, they don't have school supplies, most of them don't have backpacks to carry their books. it was a need. and it was glorious to see their faces light up when they opened their eyes to see what "santa" brought them.

would my nieces be ultra excited to see that santa had brought them two packs of pencils and goldfish snacks? not on your life.

this little girl is a nugget. and i'm a sucker for the color green.

and happy ninth anniversary to my sister and her husband. cheers to at least two more. wink wink.
