The Iron Bridge

This is the actual Iron Bridge in the gorge. It was built by an iron man keen to show the world how good his product was, and is a very elegant structure. It’s now only used by bikes and pedestrians, and looked great in the early morning light with a hint of mist. We spent most of the day at Blists Hill Victorian Town and that was excellent. We then looked at the Coalport China Museum before heading off, rather later than intended, for the south Lakes.
