Ahhhh!

Back blip

Today we drove over to Highland Wildlife Park off the A9 between Kingussie and Aviemore. The trip was via Ballater and over the Old Military Road to Cock Bridge and Tomintoul. Interesting roads and scenery during the journey which took a couple of hours, slow motoring!

The Park was fascinating. Such close contact to the animals who looked very relaxed and well cared for. Good to be able to watch the behaviour and interaction. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, a must for all ages.

It was a difficult choice of what to blip, but this tiny wildcat stole the show. The other baby in extras had got separated from his family and friends. He was stood on the road in front of the car, whilst the rest had wandered on. He did a bit of “whingeing” then walked past my open car window, so close that I could have stroked him!!! Sense prevailed and I kept my hands inside.

On returning to the B&B we were welcomed with a tray of tea and homemade cake. I like it!!
