Long day full of work and other good things.

it is now more than 12 hours since I left the house this morning and I am goosed.

Your German Words of the day are for special occasions when Things Have Not Gone Well.  We could describe the work that went into building our new bathroom as ein (der) Pfusch, a cock-up if you'll pardon the directness of my language.  You could substitute "balls-up", "botch" or just "shoddy work".  And someone who responsible for it is ein (der) Pfuscher - I'll leave you to make your own Englsih translations of that.

And I suppose if it was a woman responsible for it it would be eine (die) Pfuscherin.
