Now, as I see it......

Gingerbread House

Today we visited Waddesden Manor near Aylesbury. We visit a few times a year but always before Christmas when they have a section of the house beautifully decorated for the season and there is also a Christmas market in the grounds. We looked out for another Blipper we know who is a volunteer there but she may not have been on duty today.

An added attraction this year is this model of the main house which has been made out of gingerbread and is entirely edible, including all the furniture and paintings. It's an amazing piece of work and smelled divine! This is one of the rooms but I've added some extras of the front (difficult to get a clear shot with people around but at least the bit of a person to the left gives an idea of scale) and a couple of other rooms. As usual, Waddesden was well worth a visit.
