at the warrens

A gleam of sunshine today !
It is as if it just gives us enough to ward off insanity, but never a chance to get used to it.
The clouds and the greyness are closing in again now but it was a nice enough day. We had a wander around the farmer's market this morning, and went for a walk at the Warrens with the boy before a late lunch and taking him to his dad's.

The ragwort growing in the dunes was smothered in cinnabar moths, the first time all year there has been an abundance of any kind of wildlife. Good to see.

Going out this evening to celebrate with her parents a young friends massive success in the Leaving Cert - 570 points (out of 600). Calls for bubbly I'd say.
