And home again!

A slightly bumpy crossing but Trish and I got down to Aberdeen safely, arriving at 7am.  After a leisurely start caught the bus to the hospital to visit Bob.

We have both known him for nearly forty years, he's our neighbour and part of the craft co-op, so we were keen to see for ourselves how he was getting on in hospital, after being whisked away by ambulance flight a few weeks ago.

It was lovely to see him looking much more like his old self, and although tired and weak, happy and cheery and enjoying the company of the poor nurses!  Took some photos and videos of him for his wife and friends, then we left him before he got too exhausted.  

A quick dash through the shopping centre and back to the boat for 3.30!  Home just before midnight, both of us weary but so glad to have seen him again.
