Pernettya

The morning dawned cold and with a hard but almost invisible frost. I had one or two near slips when I was out first thing with Togbe. Fortunately he doesn't pull on the lead!

Many of the gardens we pass still have plenty of colour. This small shrub, which produces massive amounts of glistening berries, is also known as Prickly Heath. The tiny leaves are certainly jaggy enough.
