Two of Eight.........

They're not so young or small anymore.........and they're certainly not lonely.

In the nineteen years i've lived here close to Fort Brockhurst, i can't remember any swans having such a successful brood. This year we haven't lost any at all, eight eggs, eight youngsters born, and they're all fit and healthy today.

Give it a couple of months, all of the grey feathers will have been shed for their beautiful white plumage.........

Not an ugly duckling in sight.........!!
