Quiz team

A year on since our last victory, today the Grimsayers defended their Quiz Trophy at the Westford Inn and were victorious again after a very poor first round of pop knowledge (or lack of it) The spoils of war was the case of beer on the table. And this time with Austen in the hot seat, we were only one away from the big prize. Do you know when snow-boarding became an Olympic sport?!
Be warned - the longest river in Scotland is the Tay not the Dee but the loch on North Uist with the most water is Loch Obisary not Loch Scaravat. Answer I was most pleased with - Where are you if you are standing at Snaefell?
Ringing otherwise - one looks out of the window at the feeder and sees a female Chaffinch, then a male one and think there is a pair in the garden. I've now ringed nine without recapturing one so there are a few more than you think!
