Searching for the Sea

Having struggled to stretch that paper - I thught I'd do a seascape on it. Yes I know it was for that landscape commission but I haven't got any research pics yet.
That's my excuse.
Today I looked through my blue watercolours.
You can never have enough blues :-)
This is a Daniel Smith chart - they have blobs of real paint so you can see what they actually look like. I've activated them (with a bit of water)
I have sent for some Kyanite. It looks close
And besides - it has sparkles :-)
