Kristin Hersh

Kristin Hersh at the Phil Music Room tonight.  I've been a big fan of some of her previous work - especially 50 Foot Wave which was / is a brilliant project.  So, just her and a guitar was a bit of a let down; her voice is a joy and the songs are great, but there's only so much interest to be derived from a seated singer / songwriter.  I know there will be some reading this who have a different view, but for me, it could and, perhaps should, have been so much better.  It was good and I wouldn't have missed the chance to see her live for a moment, I just feel the format was less than perfect.
