Northern Cardinal ~ female

I find I have to be very quick to catch birds with their crests up. When they land on the rock to have some bird seed they flatten it down as soon as they feel comfortable, or something.

I might be on the verge of backing partially away from this blipping business. Which is to say, cutting out a lot of the commenting. It's just taking up far too much of my life. The question of maybe turning off the comments here arises as well. Might happen - can't say for sure. All I know is, I spend far to much time here. I guess we'll see.
