Over the top

I was out on a local walk with a friend this morning.  We had to venture over the top of the hill and down the steep slope shown in the photo to a path below.This is a view looking down and across to the sea in the distance.  You can even just make out Portland Bill on the horizon, which is a landmark that everyone looks out for and is only visible on clear days.  The forceful winds of yesterday resulting in a clear day today.

A good walk despite having to change direction due to a flooded footpath.
