MAKE A WISH

There's a family get-together at Christmas so I offered to make the cake for the first time in years. The occasion is shaping up to be somewhat traumatic with more potential revelations and denouements than The Archers, especially among the younger generation of 20 and 30-somethings, so us oldies will be glad of large helpings of alcohol-soaked goodies, and the lack of any access to the roof!
