The Big Game

Cal and Stanford have been playing football against each other for 119 years. The 2016 game was marked by a constant rainfall. In this photo of the Cal side of the stadium, all the Cal fans had on either a gold or blue poncho. Across the field, the Stanford fans wore red. While the Cal fans outnumbered the Stanford fans, it didn’t help. Stanford won 45-31. No matter, our grandson got lots of playing time and drew some very positive attention from the radio announcer. Other than getting very wet, we had a fun day.
