Rainy Night

Captured from our bathroom, through the window screen, at 5:10 this morning. About half an inch of rain ( ca. 1.5 cm) fell overnight--still not nearly enough to really mitigate the drought. Here's a similar view with snow nearly four years ago.  In the foreground is the compost enclosure--overflowing in the link.
