An Old Bowl

I'm not too well today, I've had a sore throat/cold for a few days now but following racking painful coughing I made an emergency appointment at the GPs who said I had a chest infection.  He gave me some antibiotics and I took the afternoon off 'work'.

Consequently I haven't taken any photos today, but being the rebel that I am (or would like to be) I've used one of yesterday's.  They have a fine collection of ancient Chinese artefacts on display at Compton Verney including this bowl dating form 456BC.  It was lit from below its stand and I considered it a suitable candidate for today's Mono Monday challenge, Illuminate, hosted by TheAphid.
