Edinburgh Festival: A Bigger Splash

This is Caroline Bowditch's outdoor production 'Leaving Limbo Landing' performed 'in air, in water and on land.'

The performance was given by East London Dance in St Andrews Square, Edinburgh on a scaffold stage in front of the Melville Monument and billed as "a visually arresting poetic exploration about why we choose to leave or stay."

The piece was pretty bonkers but the water section looked stunning with contra-jour backlighting of late afternoon sun.
