Not A Pig, A Muntjac

As one my recent pictures showed, there have been some sharp frosts here, this has caused about 90% of the apples remaining on the higher branches, to detach and fall to the ground.  Today our friendly visiting Muntjac “Hoppy” decided that he should attempt to eat as many of these as he could.  He visited bringing his female companion and they started to try to clear up the fallen apples between them.  Today’s blip is of Hoppy attempting to swallow apples without chewing them and shows the number of fallen apples beneath one of our trees.
