From Dawn to Dusk

A very cold day ...time for the heavy, lined trousers, thick socks, extra thick gloves, woolly hat and scarf. Togbe was getting just a little impatient as I struggled with my various layers of clothing.

We went up to the loch first thing.  Very misty and cold with the temperature below freezing but surprisingly the loch remained ice free although the birds were all crowded into the area beside the stony shore. I thought the weak sun might eventually break through but it didn't.

I nearly missed the sunset but I caught a glimpse of the red so quickly put the lead on Togbe and we scampered down to the cemetery where I caught the final glimpses of the sinking sun.
