A dent in the wood stocks....

Wood shed number 3 (beech from the end of the road) now empty. Starting on number 2 (willow from the tree blown down at the traffic lights mixed with oak from a fallen tree across the road that I helpfully cleared up). Wood shed 1 next (beech, oak, fir), then hopefully next year 4 and 5 (all beech) I love my little system. It is like therapy for me. We are getting through it a little ahead of schedule. But not too fast that the heating will (smug grin) probably stay off all winter (smug grin) again.

Today grateful for another job offer. I'm not going to take it, as I've signed up for my current one but it is a nice vote of confidence on a day when my confidence is at a bit of a low.
