Grisedale Pike from Derwentwater.

Our intention had been to get up early and go to Ullswater for Sunrise shots.  Somebody didn't set the alarm so that went by the board.  As it was beautiful day we decided to still go looking for photos but for a change we headed for Derwentwater.

We began with a walk in the grassy area at the north end and then along toward Friars Crag.  As you will easily imagine there were lots of photographic opportunities.  After some time at Friars Crag my hands were freezing so we set off for the Theatre by the Lake for coffee.

Along the way we met trevorearthy, biblinros and while talking PaulaJ appeared so we had a mini blip meet.  After a warming coffee we headed for home.

The afternoon was taken up by a visit to go outdoors for some footwear for Clickychick.  Hope the weather hold tomorrow as well.
