Norn

I had dinner out with a friend and we treated ourselves to a 7 course tasting menu at a relatively new restaurant competing with others in Leith, called Norn. It's in the premises of a previous Michelin starred restaurant which ultimately failed called The Plumed Horse.
The menu doesn't really tell you what you're gettting apart from a few of the ingredients and the waitress asks you to "trust us". This was - I think - course 4, consisting of confit beetroot and pumpkin seeds and other stuff but after the first few items mentioned when it's brought to the table, it's hard to remember. It's a very unusual menu, lovingly created and served by each of the chefs who prepared it. Certainly worth a visit.
All I had time for blipping today after a long day working (real work just for a change).
